Maritime & Logistics Environmental Consultancy
Compliance and reporting solutions specific to the maritime sector. We determine which regulation applies to your fleet and when, then manage the process from data collection to allowance surrender.
Environmental regulations in the maritime and logistics sector are changing at an unprecedented pace. For ship operators sailing in European waters and logistics companies operating internationally, environmental compliance is no longer a matter of reputation but a legal obligation that directly determines commercial continuity. In particular, the expanding EU-ETS (European Union Emissions Trading System) timeline as of 2026 and the FuelEU Maritime rules are reshaping fleets’ carbon intensity (CII) and emission allowance (EUA) costs.
At Climaros, we measure the environmental footprint of your maritime operations in line with legal standards and minimise your compliance risks. We do not stop at reporting your current position: through our professional EU ETS maritime consultancy service, we optimise today the carbon costs your fleet will face in the future. With our expertise in logistics carbon footprint calculation covering road, sea and warehouse operations, we also document the sustainability performance of your entire supply chain to international standards. Our aim is to turn complex regulations from a burden into a competitive commercial advantage.
What the service covers
- EU-ETS (European Union Emission Trading System)
- MRV (Monitoring Reporting and Verification)
- CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator)
- Fuel-EU
- EUA Transfer
Why Climaros?
What sets us apart most from general sustainability consultants in the sector is our deep engineering command of the operational dynamics of the maritime industry, and our own software infrastructure. Instead of leaving your compliance processes to the error risk of manual Excel spreadsheets, we digitise them with our platforms: MAC, which monitors your machinery performance, and Emission+, which measures emissions in real time.
We run our processes with an expert team, certified to ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, with data security at the centre. We are not just an external advisor giving recommendations: in the Turkish maritime consultancy market, we become a strategic operations partner that produces reports fully compliant with the legal authorities (THETIS MRV) and accredited bodies.
Our Working Process
(Timeframes will be confirmed after the scoping call.)
- Scope and Needs Analysis: Your fleet’s structure, current operational routes and the up-to-date legal obligations it is subject to (EU-ETS, MRV, FuelEU) are examined in detail.
- Data Collection and Integration: Voyage, fuel consumption and energy data for your vessels is collected on a secure infrastructure and transferred to the central system.
- Emissions Calculation and Optimisation: Your fleet’s carbon intensity (CII) and greenhouse gas emission rates are calculated in line with current legislation.
- Verifier Preparation: The final official reports to be submitted to the THETIS system and accredited bodies are prepared in the legal format, error-free.
- Continuous Monitoring and Cost Management: After report delivery, carbon allowance (EUA) costs and fuel scenarios for your future routes are simulated.
